Uganda imetoa tahadhari kwamba kundi la wanamgambo la Al Shabaab linapanga kutumia malori ya mafuta kama mabomu katika mahambulizi yao. Taarifa hii inakuja siku moja baada ya polisi kuwakamata washukiwa wawili wa ugaidi waliokuwa na mabomu wakinuia kutekeleza mashambulizi mjini Mombasa. Mkuu wa polisi wa Uganda,Kale Kayihura, amesema katika taarifa yake kwa vyombo vya habari kwamba idara ya polisi na ujasusi zina taarifa za kuthibitishwa kuwa kundi la Al-Shabaab linapanga kulipua malori ya mafuta nchini Uganda na kusababisha uharibifu mkubwa. Ameshauri wananchi kuwa waangalifu na waweze kutoa taarifa zozote kwa polisi. Uganda na Kenya ziko na wanajeshi wake nchini Somalia kusaidia wanajeshi wa Somalia na wale wa Muungano wa Afrika kupambana na kundi la Al Shabaab. Wapiganaji hao wamekiri kufanya mashambulizi katika nchi hizo mbili na kutishia mashambulizi zaidi ikiwa Kenya haitaondoa wanajeshi wake kutoka Somalia.
